Bindi appears to be smiling as he welcomes guests to the final Open Space Meet & Greet and annual Wanagi WR raffle.  Guests enjoyed an informative question & answer program prior to the annual Wanagi WR raffle which rewarded ticket holders with a generous variety of wonderful prizes.

Always so handsome, Hokshila welcomes guests to this final event held at the Open Space Center.  A large crowd gathered to meet and greet the wolves, participate in the question & answer discussion, and to participate in the annual raffle.

In almost no time at all, Bindi typically assumes his “relaxed” position during public events, often falling asleep during the presentation.  In this photo, Bindi’s shaved belly is visible . . . testament to his recent illness and near-death experience.  Fortunately, he is well on the road to a full recovery!Hooray for Bindi!

Wanagi WR ambassador Hokshila greets a guest with a lick/kiss on the hand.  Often, visitors receive a “kiss” on the face if given the opportunity.

This young lady was completely charmed by both Hokshila and Bindi, and kept leaving her mother’s lap to go pet the wolves.

Hokshila greets one of the older members of the audience.  He loves them all, great and small, old and young.

Artist Rick May displays and describes his Grand Prize raffle contribution:  a limited edition giclee reproduction of his original painting entitled “Liberty 2000.”  Rick painted this stunning portrait of wolf-dog Liberty as a tribute to this amazing canine’s spirit and survival.  In this photo, Rick displays both his original painting beside the prize-winning giclee print.

This little guy presented Stephanie and Wanagi Wolf Rescue with his own cash donation (he’d saved the money himself!), as well as a drawing of a wolf.  Age makes no difference when it comes to loving and wanting to save these precious animals.

At the end of a long and successful day, Hokshila and Bindi just want to take a long Winter’s nap!
