Before the Sale . . .

Before the Sale . . .

In order for the entire effort to work, volunteers from the various rescue agencies donated their time and energy, helping to organize and price the sale items.  This took place for days prior to the day of the sale.  Agencies were then awarded percentages of the proceeds from the yard sale.  It’s a win-win for everyone involved.  (Photo courtesy of Andrea Westwood)

Let the Sale Begin!

Large crowds gathered outside the Long Leash on Life store on Montgomery Blvd NE (just east of Eubank), awaiting the opening bell to ring at 10:00am.  Long Leash owners report that sales were excellent this year, and they are already looking forward to next year’s event.  Donated items that were not sold were distributed to local charities. Healthy, Happy Bindi

Earlier this month, Bindi was pronounced completely cured from an auto-immune disease (AIHA) that he had been fighting for the past 9 months.  He is now completely off all medications and recently “blew his coat” making him all ready to cope with the warmer months.  We’re all so glad that Bindi is now healthy and happy once again.  (Photo by Sue Isley)

Did Someone Say My Name?

Suddenly awakened from his typical public event snooze, Bindi wonders, “Does someone want to offer me a treat? or are people just talking about me?  Either way, it’s all okay.  (Photo by Sue Isley)
